Formula 1 GP Las Vegas 21/11-23/11/2024

BY MASS TRANSPORT

Public transport around the Las Vegas Strip is quite efficient and offers several options for getting around:

The Deuce Bus

Operated by the Regional Transportation Commission, the Deuce runs 24/7 and travels the length of the Strip up to Downtown Las Vegas. It stops at nearly every hotel and landmark along the Strip, making it a convenient and affordable option.

You can find more information here.

The Las Vegas Monorail

This runs on the east side of the Strip from the MGM Grand to the Sahara Las Vegas Station, with several stops in between, such as the Convention Center. It's a quick way to bypass street traffic, though it's a bit pricier than the bus.

Route
The monorail runs from the Sahara Las Vegas Station to the MGM Station, covering a total of seven stations. The stops are strategically located to provide access to various hotels, casinos, and the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Stations

  • SAHARA Las Vegas Station
  • Westgate Station
  • Boingo Station at Las Vegas Convention Center
  • Harrah's/The LINQ  ⮕ T-Mobile Zone at Sphere grandstands
  • Flamingo/Caesars Palace Station

Operating Hours
The monorail typically starts operating early in the morning, around 7:00 AM, and runs until late at night, around 2:00 AM to 3:00 AM, depending on the day of the week. However, during the F1 weekend, it is expected that Monorail will operate continuously.

Frequency
Trains arrive approximately every 4 to 8 minutes, so you rarely have to wait long for a ride.

Tickets
Tickets can be purchased at each station, with various options available such as single rides, day passes, and multi-day passes. Prices are competitive (approx. 5 USD per ride, but you can also buy a week pass), especially for the convenience and speed of travel it offers compared to ground transportation options.

Tram

Las Vegas has free trams that connect several major casinos in the city. The all-electric Aria Express, along with the Mandalay Bay Tram and the Mirage-Treasure Island Tram provide continuous service. These trams run with high frequency and almost continuously.

Taxi/ride-sharing

Taxis are readily available throughout Las Vegas and offer a convenient door-to-door transport option. Among the most important ones are:
